A LITTLE BACKGROUND ABOUT S AND ME

I started dental school in 2008. Fresh from Atlanta, Georgia, I had only been living in Maryland for 2 days, and I was overwhelmed and scared. I immediately met 2 girls who seemed great, and I was so happy to have two (potential) friends. When it came time for lunch, I eagerly went to look for them, and ran into this guy instead. “Oh, are you looking for your friends?” he asked. “They left. They must not like you very much.” 

I was shocked. How could this guy say something so rude to me?! Well, in his mind, he was flirting. And by the end of the week, he had improved his “flirting” and I was able to look past our first interaction. We started dating, and 12 years later, he still says some dumb things 😆, but overall, he’s the most amazing person I know and I can’t believe I got lucky enough to be his.
